Why you should play Crimson Desert
Crimson Desert invites you to explore the vast continent of Pywel. Travel over land, through woodland, deserts, cities and towns, or take to the skies and leap through ancient constructs in the floating 'Abyss'.
A vast, seamless world
Split across five regions - Hernand, Pailune, Demeniss, Delesyia and the Crimson Desert - Pywel is a continent teeming with life. Bustling cities, vast wildernesses, ancient ruins and much more await in a land inhabited by multiple factions and their stories.
Traverse on horseback, glide through the skies or pilot your own missile-firing mech as you venture across the lands. Inhabitants across the world will make requests for tasks great and small, from making deliveries to liberating besieged strongholds - each completed request will provide you with resources and rewards that will serve you on your journey.
In the skies above, the Abyss looms: a mysterious realm of immense power that you must explore on your mission to restore its mystical balance and stop those who would misuse it.
Relentless action and brutal combat
Traverse the land of Pywel from top to bottom, scaling rock faces, mysterious towers or verdant woodland. Vault ravines, divebomb from the open sky, swing from your magical grappling hook, or combine skills to slingshot yourself over castle walls of clifftops.
You'll unlock more abilities as you explore Pywel and many of these can be used in combat, combining acrobatic movement with a huge range of weapons and skills.
Wield swords, spears, axes, dual blades, bows, muskets and many more, across three playable characters with distinct fighting styles. that favour speed, strength or finesse.
A living breathing world
The five regions of Pywel are full of things to do. Towns are home to local tradespeople, such as tailors and smithies, alongside shopkeepers and ordinary towns folk.
Interact with each as you choose: help out, goof-off, gamble or steal to make your way in the world. Just be mindful of the law, as locals will remember your misdeeds and prison awaits if you're caught.
Gather resources on the road: fish and mine, harvest and gather for cooking, enhancing your equipment, and more. Grow your newly founded Greymane camp; here you can help out with farming activities for more supplies, brew dyes to customize your outfits or even get a shave and a haircut.
