The Marantz PMD-602A is a 2-channel battery-operated audio interface designed as a companion for DSLR cameras and field recording equipment. It enables the use of microphones or line-level audio devices with DSLR cameras or field recording setups. With two XLR combo inputs that support selectable MIC or LINE level, it’s built to support common audio source routing for camera and recording workflows. Designed with professional audio features, the PMD-602A includes selectable 12V or 48V phantom power for condenser microphones and a limiter function to help ensure gain matching. The interface also offers a 3.5mm stereo LINE input and a LINE output with level control, along with a headphone output for monitoring. For on-location mounting, it includes a camera mount and a tripod socket, along with a 1/4" x 20 mounting bracket on the top for attaching a camera.
