The Legend of Zelda™: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2 rebuilds the 1998 action-adventure game for Nintendo Switch 2 while preserving its classic story. Play as Link, the Hero of Time, as he journeys through Hyrule to stop Ganondorf from claiming the Triforce from the Sacred Realm. The adventure spans Link's childhood and adulthood, with different weapons, equipment, and abilities available across each stage.

Explore reimagined locations including Kokiri Forest, Hyrule Castle, Kakariko Village, Zora's Domain, Goron City, and Lon Lon Ranch. Work through temples, dungeons, and hidden locations by solving environmental puzzles, collecting special items, and facing bosses. Musical ocarina melodies activate events, open new areas, and help solve puzzles, while swords, shields, bows, and other tools support combat and exploration.

The game features redesigned environments, updated character models, improved textures, modern visual effects, refined animations, faster loading times, enhanced movement mechanics, and modern camera controls. Story scenes include full voice performances and expanded dialogue, accompanied by refreshed sound design and symphonic orchestral arrangements. Selected aiming actions support motion controls, and compatible Legend of Zelda series amiibo figures can unlock additional in-game extras.

Play in TV, tabletop, or handheld mode. ZELDA NOTES integration works through the Nintendo Switch App on compatible smart devices, providing location challenges, daily accomplishments, and interactive ocarina functionality.
