The Braun ThermoScan 7+ Age Precision Thermometer is an ear thermometer designed to provide age-adjustable fever guidance for the whole family. Its AgeSmart™ technology lets you select an age group to help interpret temperature readings. The thermometer measures infrared heat generated by the eardrum and surrounding tissue, which shares a blood supply with the temperature control centre in the brain. A patented pre-warmed soft tip and guidance system make it suitable for babies’ ears from birth onwards. ExacTemp® technology uses a light and beep to confirm proper positioning for accurate measurements. The large color-coded display provides instant fever detection, while the easy-to-read LCD display supports clear viewing. ThermoScan 7+ is designed to minimize the cooling effect of the tip inside the ear canal, providing accurate measurements time after time. Its night mode includes a light for use in the dark and a silent mode to help avoid wake-ups. The ExacTemp® stability indicator and ready beep support correct positioning and measurement readiness. Braun disposable lens filters help eliminate the risk of cross-contamination and support accurate readings. The protective case includes lens filter storage, helping keep the thermometer and filters together between uses.
