Braun ThermoScan® Disposable Lens Filters LF40, Pack Size: 40 disposable caps are designed for use with a thermometer tip before each temperature measurement. Each disposable lens filter provides a fresh cover for the thermometer tip during temperature taking. Replacing the Braun ThermoScan® lens filter every time a reading is taken supports accurate and hygienic temperature monitoring. Disposable lens filters help avoid the need to clean or disinfect the temperature sensor between readings. They also virtually eliminate cross contamination during use. Fit a new Braun lens cover onto the thermometer tip before taking a measurement. After the temperature has been measured with the lens cover fitted, eject and discard the used lens filter. The used filter can be ejected by pressing the button below the thermometer tip. Using a new filter each time helps prevent dirt or ear wax from building up and clogging the sensor window. This helps maintain the sensor window for temperature readings and supports hygienic thermometer use.
