Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter

The Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter allows seamless connection between Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt 2 devices—including external hard drives and Thunderbolt docks—and your MacBook Pro’s Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports. This bidirectional adapter also connects newer Thunderbolt 3 devices to older Thunderbolt 2 ports, supporting macOS Sierra or later. Additionally, it connects Thunderbolt-enabled displays, such as the Apple Thunderbolt Display and LG Thunderbolt 2 displays, to Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports. Please note, it requires a power source for Apple Thunderbolt Displays and does not support DisplayPort displays like the Apple LED Cinema Display or third-party DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort monitors.
